Multiple customers have notified us that they’ve received text messages like the one pictured above claiming that their debit card is locked.  The text message is generic, and does not contain anything specifying it is from Wolf River Community Bank or our card provider, SHAZAM.

This message contains a phone number to call, which then prompts customers to provide multiple pieces of secure information such as card number, expiration date, social security number, etc.  If you have called the number in the text message and entered any personal information, please call the bank immediately so we can help you protect your accounts.
