$1500 scholarships available

Wolf River Community Bank is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for local graduating high school seniors. As part of our commitment to education and community enrichment, we will award multiple $1,500 scholarships to students in the communities we serve, with a special emphasis on those who demonstrate a strong dedication to community service.

Wolf River Community Bank scholarships will be awarded to seniors from the following area high schools:

  • Hortonville High School
  • New London High School
  • Shiocton High School

“As a community bank, we believe in building stronger communities by investing in the future workforce,” said Joe Peikert, CEO at Wolf River Community Bank. “Through our commitment to financial well-being, service, and education, we are proud to support the next generation of skilled professionals who demonstrate excellence and who strive to make a positive impact on those around them.”

Applicants must be graduating in 2025 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, have completed at least 20 hours of community service, and be planning to pursue a degree in business or finance at an accredited university, college, or technical school. Selection will be based on academic achievement, community involvement, work experience, extracurricular participation, and a thoughtful essay highlighting why the applicant is a strong candidate for the scholarship.

The application period is open now until April 1, 2025. Eligible students can find the scholarship application and more details at www.wolfriverbank.com/scholarships.

Wolf River Community Bank is proud to introduce this new scholarship initiative and looks forward to recognizing students who embody the spirit of community service and the potential to impact the future workforce.
