Fox-Wolf Watershed Cleanup

Location: Northeast Wisconsin

Date: May 3, 2025

Time: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Get ready for Northeast Wisconsin's largest volunteer trash cleanup on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Join over 1,600 volunteers as we clean up over 65 public sites in our watershed, with over 7,000 pounds of garbage expected to be removed.

The Fox-Wolf Watershed Cleanup is all about bringing our community together, learning how to protect our environment, and improving the water quality in our region for years to come. Let’s make a real difference—together! Everyone is welcome to volunteer.

Wolf River Community Bank will have a team volunteering along the banks of the Wolf River in New London.

Volunteer from 9:00 am to 11:30 am

You can head directly to your registered cleanup site, where Site Leaders will meet you with your cleanup supplies, t-shirts, and any special instructions to make sure you’re ready to roll. You’ll be given gloves, trash grabbers, bags, and everything else you need to make a difference.

Interested in making a difference? You can register here: Volunteer for the 2025 Watershed Cleanup

*To receive your free clean-up t-shirt, you must register by March 31st.

**Registration will end on April 19 at noon.

Celebration Picnic from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

After cleanup, it’s time to celebrate! Join the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance at Telulah Park in Appleton, WI, for a fun-filled picnic with lunch, music, bounce houses, face painters, raffles, and tons of games. It’s the perfect way to relax and enjoy the day with family, friends, and fellow volunteers.

What is a Watershed?

A watershed is the land and waterways that drain to a common source. The Fox-Wolf Watershed includes the Wolf River, Upper Fox River, the Winnebago pool lakes, and the Lower Fox River. All that water eventually flows into Green Bay, then into Lake Michigan, and out to the Atlantic Ocean.
